Letters To Medina

Its pretty amazing to watch your nieces and nephews and to just observe their thoughts and actions and see the infinite possibilities and an imagination that cant hold them back. It is so satisfying to watch their eyes gazing at everything with such enthusiasm and energy. Their life is filled with so much oppurtunity and so much passion. I began to wonder, at what age do we start to reason and rationalize what is 'sensible'? and what is "wrong"? When do we start to question their actions? At what stage in our life do we stop experimenting with excitment and curiosity? 

This is the letter I wish Medina have : 

My precious baby girl, 

Ciksu couldnt love you more if you were my own. I'll never forget the day you were born, baby. 12th August 2016. I will remember this date forever. I share your triumphs, your joy, your pain. I'll be beside you every step of the way (I wish). Watching you grow over the years, has been a gift I hold. So dear baby girl, always remember I'm here for you. 

Let me ask you something. Do you know how powerful you are? 

You are capable of greatness. You have a purpose in this world and you have full control over your own fate. Your life is full of infinite choices but thats just what they are. Its up to you to create your own unique path. Do not let your life be about circumstance. Be strong, valiant dan fierce. Grab a hold of courage and dont ever lose it. But also be sensitive and humbe. I want you to be ehatever your heart wishes you to be. Dont imitate anyone else. Remain true to your own self. And dont ever worry about being called bossy or a diva. The ones that call you that have their own story to tell and those words have nothing to do with you anyway. 

You are valuable. Dont ever settle for anything that doesnt bring you pure joy. Dont be afraid to take a risk and be yourself. Thats how you will find the greatest reward. Step into your fears but dont be reckless about it. Learn to hear your intuition and trust yourself. You know better than you think you do.

This is your life and you owe it to yourself to live it the way you want. Dont ever think that makes you selfish. But also be remember to kind to others. Reach out to people when they need help. Be considerate. Passion, purpose and values are just as important as loyalty, hardwork and commitment. Always be excited about something no matter what it is. Dont let anyone tell you your passions are unrealistic or funny. They are yours and dream big my little girl.

Your family loves you. Ciksu loves you to the moon and back. No matter what. Life may not always flawless but you are loved and you are safe. Dont let the child in you die. As long as you nurture this child within you, you will find happiness and joy in life. Be bold, brave and believe in the power of your dreams. The dreams that shine in your sparkly eyes like stars will illuminate your path to success and happiness
